How do we want out favorite idols treated? I am sure most K-Pop fans want the groups they care about to be treated well, but that is not what is going on for a large majority of the celebrities we know and love.

There is a long history of mistreatment and abuse of idols by their companies in the K-Pop industry. It has been dismissed and covered up for a long time, but a new generation of internet savvy fans have brought to light the issues that the general public don’t usually see.  Mistreatment can take place in many forms, but I want to focus on two subjects that have been hot topics recently; dating bans and overbooked schedules.
